Astros' Buddies Day

It was another losing effort for the Astros at Enron Field today, but who cares when you can get a hug from Jose Lima? Erin says we'll have to print this out and take it with us NEXT game to get Jose to autograph it!

Patrick opted for an autograph on his baseball rather than a hug.

Jose Lima is a SUPER example of sports figure who has not lost touch with his fans. I've been to 6 games this year and he ALWAYS speaks to the fans, tosses balls to the kids, and signs autographs before the games.

Erin & Patrick get their faces painted before the game, another treat that's part of the fun at Enron Field. Today was "Astros Buddies" day and the kids got free baseball cards, a t-shirt and a wooden train whistle.
